Employer Branding SA was invited by APSO (the Federation of African professional staffing organisations), the professional regulatory body for the labour recruitment industry in SA, to conduct two consecutive one hour training sessions on employer branding and marketing for their internal and external recruiters.

The goal was to provide this audience with employer branding and recruitment marketing tools to assist them in demonstrating significant value add into their organizations. Additionally to highlight how they could shift their traditional transactional roles to that of a trusted advisor, innovative marketer and employer branding partner.

The first one, Differentiating yourself through your Understanding of Employer Branding, was held on the 18th of March, with the core focus being on recruiters gathering knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing to overcome key challenges, attraction of critical skills and improve placement ratios.

Shift your Candidate Experience from Good to Exceptional, held on 8 April, was aimed to enlighten how recruiters could improve on their recruitment process and value chain through gathering a better understanding of their Client’s Brand.
