CASE STUDY
National Foods, Zimbabwe
Employer Branding Strategy and EVP Implementation
Our goal
Employer Branding Africa was privileged to partner with Zimbabwe’s largest food manufacturer in building their employer brand and value proposition to becoming a recognizable Employer of Choice.
National Foods provided us with the fortunate insights into understanding the working and private lives of their people, together with the economic, societal and technological challenges that the Zimbabwean community face daily. National Foods is a great example of how we delivered on a holistic solution from end-to-end and finally through to adoption phase. Not only did we handhold them through their development, launch, management and maintenance, but their entire talent team are fully trained and equipped with implementable workplace tools, templates and solutions to sustain and grow their employer brand reputation and footprint.
The business impact
National Foods benefited from an end-end solution with Employer Branding Africa having developed an employer branding framework which they could internalise and activate to their external candidate market – all of which has assisted them in retaining, engaging and attracting high sort after talent.
They have seen a reduction in external recruitment costs, elevated awareness in their local talent community, reduced interviewing time through informed candidates, increased levels of internal employee advocacy and more.

Employer Branding Excellence – A Case Study Approach’ 5th edition
“Dear Colleagues
The National Foods employer branding story was featured in the book ‘Employer Branding Excellence – A Case Study Approach’ 5th edition.
Please see attached an extract from the book which Celeste (in copy) shared with us. It’s a great story and even more than just a great story, we are really beginning to enjoy a return on the investment made. I also think the inclusion in the book takes our brand places. Well done Celeste and a big thank you.”
